Not sure if this is an exploit, bug, or a cheat or if everyone knows about it all ready? Seems with some book quests the book is placeable in your house before you finish the quest.. Hows it exploitable? Place the book in your house then return to the zone you picked the book up at and you can pick it up again and again and again just keep placeing it in your house then returning and picking up another copy. I can confirm this works with the gnolem book in varsons on the shelf behind the tomb of life. And the book of fairies in the secret room of the library at nektolos castle. I have about 5 copies of each placed in my house. Only down fall i found was when i moved i had to move 1 book at a time Oh well my book cases look cool all filled up!

It's not an exploit, bug or cheat. It's just SoE being stupid. And it's been known for a while. Now if they were sellable that would be an exploit.

lol never said soe was the brightest. Non the less still would be a bug because it starts a quest and part of that quest reward is a furniture version of the book which you get without ever finishing the quest. And endless copies at that. But maybe some one like me didn't hear of it either and wanted to know. Not looking for any credit really just passing it along.

That's actually a somewhat new thing. The books used to be just notrade like the dozens of other quest books you could get, and you got the furniture version when the mastery/LnL was finished.

Somebody "fixed" it when they changed the book quests.
