There is a quest in Qalia where you go through 5 way points, then go to this circle of large spinning dongs. It's probably gotten at the Refugee camp direcly south of Khal, and almost directly east of the Beacon of Azrah Shahab. You must be level 11 to get this quest.

Start of with a full (or fullish group) but split off into teams of 3 as you level (depending on classess)

You need 1 person playing tank (clerics work best for the tank)

The tank just stands right inthe middle of the spawn point, and shares the quest (macro it to share at least 2x a second)

You need 1-2 designated killers (sorc works best for AOE)

The rest of the people stand around and spawn the clouds as fast as they can. (there is an auto-it script in the quote at the bottom of this you can copy/paste. read the directions under the script, or it won't work without you editing it)

The clouds are 2 dot level 15 npc's instantly hostile to the closest player, and have very few hp's.

Start off by haveing one of the designated spawners spawn one cloud. This will show the tank where to stand. the direction the summoner is faceing is illrevelant, but they may need to move back if the cloud spawn too close to them. Kill that cloud. The rest of the summoners stand inside the one who spawned (so group huddle time with no bounding boxes...) The sorc will back off a little so the tank is the one that gets aggroed.

The tank starts up the macro for shareing the quest. (or can sit there and mouse click share, but that's booring).

The summoners will start up auto-it.

The killer will start up a looting macro (theese things can easily drop a gold or more in crap sale value every couple hours)

Then the killer simply goes and kills the never ending stream of couds while the tank heals it's self, or is healed by a summoner(or two, but they're going to have a hard time doing this with atuo-it running).

when you get this quest, an empty bottle will appear in your inventory. The summoners will need to take this bottle, and drag it into slot 1 of their hot bar. Then they right click the bottle in their inventory. This fills it 1/3 of the way with water, and they drag this new one into slot 2. Right click it again, this fills it 2/3 the way with water. stick this one in slot 3. To summon the clouds, you have to fill the jug (hit 1, 2, 3,) then the cloud appears. They will then abandon quest, and get a new one (from the spamming shared quest) and hit 1, 2, 3 again, abandon quest, repeat.... Do NOT bother doing the way points.

Set your desktop resolution to 1280x1024.
Run vanguard in windowed mode at 1024x768. stick the vanguard window in the top left corner of your moniter.

Some of the "popup" windows can be moved around, and stay where you put them. The confirm window will NOT stay put, and always spawns in the same place no matter where you plant it. This is the window you will use to line up the buttons for the auto-it program. The confirm window (when abandoning the quest) will have 2 buttons "yes" and "no" (or something similar). the quest log (L) has a button on the bottom left (forgot the name of it, but hit the abandon button so the confirm window pops up, then stick that bottom left button DIRECTLY over the no button in the confirm window). This lined up one of the windows. Now actually drop the quest, and get the window offering it to popup. line up it's bottom right button directly over the yes button on the confirm window. That lned up your other window for Autoit.

You'll need to probably stay at the keyboard till around level 14, but by then, the sorc or other killers should be able to handle a truely infinite amount of spawnage. The per kill is pretty low, but since you can spawn 1 every 3 seconds, and can have 4 spawners... it will add up very fast. For guilds, it helps alot to have a mixture of levels for this, level 14+ killer/tank, let the low levels do the spawning. They will need to go back to weenie land later on to grind up their skills as they will be warped several levels without ever earning a skill point (they get them, they just aren't used, so have to be ground out later).

The tank (if he's the one spamming the share) can controll the speed of spawns by stopping the share macro. This auto-it program will allow for the quest to not be shared, and will simply run happily untillthe quest is shared again, and resume it's spamming ways. With a minor dumb script for the killer, you can fully automate the grind around level 16-18, and have the entire group afk.

Monor correction to above:

When lineing up the windows for Auto-it, the quest window (L). The bottom left button is "Abandon". This one still lines up with the "no/cancle" button on the right side of the confirmation window. When the "acceptance" window comes up for getting the quest again, that window's bottom right button lise up over the "Abort" button on the quest window, NOT the yes button on the acceptance window.

Sorry for the wrong information above.

I'll confirm this..

And add, there is a specific point on in area you can stand that you will not agro the cloud when they spawn.. (I do not know it off hand I'll try and get a SS for you today..) and what we did was get a group of 6 people.. 5 stood on the spot and spawned about 400 mobs.. The AoE'ed them down in a matter fo seconds.. I went from 16-18 in about an hour and 45 mins.. So at this rate you could do 11-20 in probably 7-9 hours

*Edit*
This method is good as well because they all spawn in 1 spot, which is within AoE range for a Sorc from the No-Agro location.. and if any unknowning bystandards walk by (but not too close to the mob cloud.. cuz they'll get OWNED) They only see 1 mob.. not 400

jharru flats: Refugee camp (see http://vanguard.gamepressure.com/maps.asp?ID=59 for map)

It's from one of the people inside one of the 3 large tents.

More exact:

it's the tent that does NOT have a banker or the one with the general merchandise npc.

The quest name is "Water Colllection"

sorry for the spotty info on how to get the quest in the first place.

you should have vanguard running in a windowed mode, ideally with a desktop resolution of 1280x1024, and a vanguard windowed size of 1024x768.

if you do this, all you do is plant the auto it script under the vanguard window (not behind, under it so you can click on it without moveing the vanguard window)

The coordinated I used are absolute screen ones, so you can run the script, and it will highlight the vanguard window by it's self durring the first pass (but it won't correctly summon at that time since one of the clicks hit the rindow to activeate it instead of the button it was supposed to hit)

If your mouse will move round the screen without =vanguard running (just the script) then the auto-it script is working. if not, something isn't right.

I'll post a longer debug for this tonight, I have to take my kids to the zoo.

I have everything to ideal setting, but when i start the script it doesnt select vanguard with the clicks. instead it just moves where it suppose to and click without selecting vanguard which is weird. so i tried minimizing vanguard it seems to work fine clicking and doing what it suppose to. maybe window vista a problem with this?

The mouse is pauseing over the buttons it's supposed to be clicking, right?

it will move to the upper middle rigt, to upper middle, to upper middle left.

When it gets to each of theese points, it will left click at that point. if your windows aren't lined up so that thr buttons are under the mouse, it won't work.

Look for the pause points on the mouse movement, and make sure teh abandon quest button is at the right side click point, the yes in the confirmation window is at the middle point, and the accept button is at the left mouse click point.

Just to make sure it was covered:

1. you have to have at least one parther who is shreing the quest. (so at least a 2 person party with perferably only 2 people)

2. your partner either has to really like clicking on share quest alot, or preferably have it macroed to share the water quest every 500ms. (2 times a second). There is only around a 900ms delay between abandoning the quest and trying to get a new one. If your partner is slow to share, you will se alot of abandoning of quests without any (or very few) successfuly accepted quests.

*the timeing on this quest works about 80% of the time with a hand share partner if they simply slap a /share in the attack macro they use most often as the mob you spawn will show up half a second before you abandon th quest, so you can catch the quest when they attack the mob. For my parthers who don't have a G-15 keyboard, Auto-it, or other macroable device/program, I have them set up their spam attack in game this way:

/endloot
/lootall
/targetnearest
(/targetnextpcoffensive) *use only for pvp servers*
/share
(/pet attack) *use only for necro and shaman partners*
/cast "Whatever Their Spam Skill Is"

Getting them to do this will get them to loot everything for you. Just have them sare the cash. They will automatically target the nearest cloud, so will be shareing more often. If a hostile pc is in range, they will attack that instead of the cloud, so the offensive pc is more likely to kill them first while you make a break for it (heh). It will then share the quest (tell your partner to delete all quests but water collection. you could have them simply have water collection highlighted, but that doesn't always work out so well.) Then it will actually attack the nearest cloud (this attack actually happens almost instantly, the rest of the commands are instants). Besiides, it turns tehm into macro monkeys afte that, and this gives them just about every command they need in vanguard. besides, the more people on your side who use theese commands, the better off your side is for pvp combat.
