Necromancer PVP Possible Exploit : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

The PvP ruleset states a player will not receive credit from a PVP kill if the other player is below 50% health.

Necromancer's Lich and Archlich can keep necro's below 50% health, here's how:

1. Do not have any food going.
2. Cast Lich/Archlich on yourself
3. Heal your pet with both heals - these drain your health
4. Once you are below 50%, just keep refreshing pet heals

Lich/Archlich continously drain your health. When you don't have food running, then you can easily maintain your health around 40% - just need to pay attention to your health bar and heal your pet from time to time.

I can't say specifically on which tick count, but if you monitor your health bar - you'll be good to go.

Of course, you'll be killed a lot faster because you are below 50% health, however, if you fear your opponant off a cliff or island (KoS), then you've earned yourself some PVP fame/status, as well as XP.

Just food for thought folks.

I would call that more of a strategy rather than an exploit. You are using straight forward logic, leveraging completely legit functionality.

Though I do play a necro, I don't play on the PvP servers so i can't confirm how successful this is. However if it works for you, fantastic!
