SWG Exploits - Get into sf areas on leave : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

Alright tested 2 times and works for me. You get a camp with a cloner and place the camp right on the line of a PVP zone and make sure the cloner is in the pvp area. Go SF and die in the pvp area, then clone to the camp and just walk into the PVP zone. You will be on leave and at static bases you can flip the terminals and not be attacked by NPCs or people.

I do not see the point in this. Can someone point out what is so great about doing this?

Flipping a GCW base is not a hard task. It would be quite obvious of what you are doing if they see a blue dot they can't attack flipping terminals.

For Restuss I also think its quite worthless. Can you leave and come back without the camp after you initially passed the barrier? If it is only a one-time per camp deal, then this is also a waste.

Explain the significance of this please.

I can potentially see a few scenarios where this could be useful. One would be so you could camp and wait for the Emperor's Hand spawn while the city is under opposite faction control. Another is if you're a BH who's mark is inside the city...you could take him out while he's fighting the NPC's without risk of any aggro yourself.

Not sure if attacking anything would affect your on leave status, but if that's the case, then this could be useful.

I'm a little confused. A lot people are /naying stuff just because they dont think its useful, reqaurdless of whether they tried it or not. Is it a yay or nay to the exploit working, or a yay or nay to whether or not the exploit sounds like it will help me(as it seems the case may be)

ut yeah, yay for me i got it to work. I successfully used this exploit to go into a pvp zone while on leave.

Is because often people will post junk exploits in hopes of getting prems. Just because something works, doesnt mean its useful. Which hopefully should encourage higher quality submissions, where people take the time to explain their submissions.

1 yay. 2 more needed for confirm
0 nay. 3 more needed for lock.

A lot of the people here may not think it's a useful exploit simply because they 'cannot think of any good uses'. Unfortunately, usually these people don't have much of an imagination.

Here's one good use off the top of my head. Getting your BH into SF areas to take out a mark, without getting group ganked by all of his buddies.

YAY.

i use to be a BHer and i also GW alot and this is useful if your mark or enemie guild is hiding in a pvp zone for protection.

This does work. And it is useful.
Say you are a rebel spy and there are 30 imperials camping a GCW base for Stim-E's.
You can go in with a few spy friends, flip the terminals all at once with no fear of being decloaked, and pull your camp up without anyone knowing you were exploiting.

However this wouldnt work in restuss... you cant place camps on the edge of restuss.

Has anyone tried to duel an SF from the other faction in a PVP base while on leave to see if you get GCWs?
