I read somewhere that there will be free beta keys in the magazine: computer game magazine, it was in the july issue i belive on page 83, now dont run around stealing keys now ok"!!!

No need to buy the mag (which doesn't contain any keys just the web site address). Just go to the website; they give away several thousand keys on a weekly basis, usually Friday at noon via a clickable link.
