Ok, the gameplay is like World Of Warcraft with sort of Oblivion graphics when you play on Ultra High. Try the beta which will start again in the end of march I think. go to www.lotro.com

i think they are pretty decent. Keep in mind it has to be set up to handle good and bad comps 2.

The graphic settings are the norm: Low/Medium/High/Ultra High/Custom

Now if you install from the DVD, you can install the high resolution graphics which is even more detailed. There are shots about but the official forums were wiped.

The graphics are pretty heavy honestly, don't just follow a screenshot, they don't always tell the truth.

the graphics look pretty nice.... but it looks a bit like guild wars and it doesn't look like what i think it would. i was hoping it to be a bit more... scarier and war like

Scarier and war-like? How come you were expecting it to be that way? The movies perhaps?

Graphics are pretty cool, They give you alot of functions to control graphics. Its alot like WoW. I like it so far, if the Raiding and loot from bosses in the endgame are good i will play it for awhile, atleast until Age of Conan.

Its the best running game I have played lately as far as Great graphics/lag ratio.

Only thing i do not like is the minimal choice of Classes. Guardian, Hunter, Champion, Guard, Mistrel, Loremaster. I would like to see a Warlock or Shaman maybe, but its supposed to be goodly characters.

The game is a blinder,

no gameplay depths, things that where simplified in WoW already are even simpler here.

this is an insult for the story, nothing in this game is epic its a tourist run thru a lotr museum world that is as static as 10 year old titles.

there is neither an item ballance nor a challenging end game.

pvmp is a joke - the side that has fewer people on, logs over and farms the npc castles with the majority and vice versa.

you'll be blinded by graphics, sounds and atmosphere for 2-12 weeks then you will probably start to think and wonder why a new title has not more to offer than WoW or Pirates (1986)

Whew - that seems somewhat bitter and sad.
