.................................................................Travel To Tyria or Cantha

This guide will explain to you the quickest way possible to get to either Tyria(or Cantha, I don't have Factions so I am not sure.). First the obvious though, to travel to Tyria you must have a prophecies account linked to your Nightfall account, and to travel to Cantha you must have a Factions account linked to your Nightfall account.
By following this very simple guide you will not have to be ferried to either
of the continents, and you will only have to do the first mission that takes you to Kamadan, Jewel of Istan.
After completing the very first mission you will arrive in Kamadan.
As soon as the game is done loading hold down [alt] and look around until you find the Canthan Ambassador, he is almost directly behind First Spear Dehvad.
Talk to him, and make him show you the list of guild halls, when he does select "Warriors Isle" from the list.
After the game loads start running towards the enemy's base. As you pass the flag stand start holding [alt] and looking for the Canthan Ferry Captain. When you find him click on him to talk. When your conversation starts and the list of Guild Halls appear scroll down to the very bottom and click the option that says "Take me back to Lions Arch"

See how much easier that was than getting a ferry to Tyria or Cantha!!??

YAY I did try it it does work, I CANNOT however get it to work for cantha so you can only travel from Elona to LA nowhere else but, beats paying for ferries. I would say "NICE FIND"

the ferries and this method of using the guild halls to travel to LA have been nerfed by ANET

We tried to ferry from docks to LA and one person didnt have the quest and the gate keeper in LA wouldnt allow us to go in...we went back to the docks drooped the offending player and we were allowed in.

the guildhall guy that will take you to LA has been removed from all guild halls.
