LOTRO Cheats - Own named Mobs with your Hunter : LOTRO - Exploits

LOTRO gives credit and loot for a kill to the first person who "TAGS" the Mob.

When you find a special mob dropping coin or loot you can camp it all day!

After the creature is dead, wait around to identify the spawn location.

After its killed again, drop a trap on the spawn location.

When the Mob spawns you will get the TAG even if others kill it for you.

Rinse and repeat!


This is great for griefing other non Hunter Players! I've had carebears beggin me to let them finish their quests for hours!

Just FYI: People have complained of tactics such as this and there are consequences for those who continue to do it. Especially on mobs that are used for quests.
