Private Server?

Unfortunately at my school the IP for shadowbanes public servers have been blocked.

Since I just want to fool around and play the game single player, if it is possible to download and use a private server - if it is legal etc, and if so, where would I find the resources to do so?

is it possible? yes but it will get very boring. also it is illegal to have a private server running and legal action could be taken if wanted to. also private server discussions are not allowed on this site for legal reasons
