In the instance called : Thief-taker's Bane there is a
brigand cache wich spawns every time you begin the instance.
In this cache there are silver coins and recipes / food / materials /etc.

Getting to the cache is ABSOLUTLY RISK FREE , there are no monsters at all until your start the quest. You can bot this cache as much as you want.

So , to make money you just need to :
1) Start the instance Thief-taker's bane
2) Go get the chest
3) LOOT Very Happy

4) start the quest and wait for 3 rangers to die
5) rince and repeat!

PS : You can still redo this instance if you already completed it. Just go to the Pool of Reflection near the quest giver .

I can confirm it does work (before tonight's patch anyway). If you have already done the quest, just go to the Reflecting Pool and select to enter the instance again. Chest is always in a tent somewhere, and usually has some craft loot like Adamant or scholar's paper thing. There is always 3 silver.

Havent found anything great yet, but I guess if Adamant sells well on your auction house, it's a great way to farm it

Update:

Spent about 10mins doing it, made around 50silver after selling some of the junk (kept the purple crafting items though).

While you are waiting for the rangers to die, help them kill off some non elites, and u can make another 3 silver per body.

So in pure cash drops:

1 chest = 3 silver
2 non elites = 6 silver

9 Silver per run which takes around 1.5minutes. If you sell the crafting items, could get up to maybe 20 silver per run?

Because if you abandon quest, they put a 20minute retry timer on it

I did this for a while today, and found the best way to make more $ is to help the npcs fight 1 or 2 of the non-elites that spawn since you need to wait for the "fail" timer anyway. Another 3silver off each mob + item drops.

If you are a scholar u can make even more as an "antique vase" also spawns each time.

Risk vs. Reward. Takes like 1-2 minutes to make a few silver and get some recipes/craft items/etc. (whatever spawns in the chest). So, if you get enough rare recipes or craft items, you can AH them for a pretty penny.
