This exploit will allow you to create multiples of the old loot kit paintings. The broken hand-held viewscreen (tan) has not dropped on live servers in years, however the other parts ALL DROP often.
Get one of the *tan* hand-held viewscreens (many people still have them on every server) you will only need one EVER, if you follow these instructions exactly.
You will need the following:
Picture Printer
Blank Canvas
Paint cartridge
Paint disperal unit
Broken hand-held viewscreen
All of the above are lootable, and consumed in the process except the viewscreen. The viewscreen is *supposed* to be consumed, but this method will prevent it, and give you the painting!
Gather the above items in your inventory, DO NOT put them into the picture printer yet.
Next, make sure your inventory is 79/80, meaning one free inventory spot.
Now, drop the other items in,
but the viewscreen goes in LAST. The painting will be produced and placed in your inventory, giving you a full inventory BEFORE the viewscreen goes into the picture printer, and is consumed.
As we all know, the picture printer is a container, and you cannot place items into a container in your inventory, if the inventory is full.
I have repeated this countless times, this produces 3 different paintings at random.
Droid in Contrast (does not drop elsewhere. sells for 5-10mill regularly)
Bio-Engineer poster (worthless, drops as loot)
Double helix (does not drop elsewhere, worth 5-10mill).
And there we have it.
