Try unziping the files in the same directory format as they are in the zip file into your c:\EQ2Ultrabot folder
This is what your working directory should look like.
c:\EQ2Ultrabot\Application Files\EQ2Ultra_5_0_0_9

I get an error in EQ2ExtremeService
EQ2.Class_Initialize failed
Click on ok and it loads the main screen
It then loads the main screen. If you try to click on Config you get and Unhandled exception error "Invalid procedure call or argument".
That's as far as I could get.

ok first, config button does not work, that is why you need to use the Ultrabot 4.3 ini file.
Try installing eq2extreme to see if that help.
Also this is for Vista, I dont know if its working on XP but my suggestion is, if you run XP use Ultrabot 4.3, I am still using it on my 2 XP and its working great.

You dont need to unzip in c:\eq2ultrabot, just unzip in a temp directory, then run setup. In c:\eq2ultrabot you need to put the 2 ini file from the older ultrabot.

I don't use Vista so I won't be able to use this. The XP version does still work but is very slow to the point of being worthless. I'll stick with the bot that Beowulf made until we can't keep it working since it's no longer supported. Pity since I was a huge fan of Ultrabot.
Thanks

Slow to respond to heals and combat response strings and after fights to start following the leader again. The 2nd STR for heals doesn't always work and can cause a lockup, sometimes exits if the fighting gets to intense. I usually have to restart the bot after every zone, death or just time to time.
Don't get me wrong, it was the best thing in it's day, just seems to have gotten overly buggy, slow, and unreliable.
I try to run it on 2 of my 3 computers just for the combat response strings that no other bot has and due to using reactive/ward heals, it's inefficient to just spam cast. Since I cannot afford 2 new copies of Vista I'm stuck with XP (not to mention it's more reliable). Beowulf didn't include this in his bot as you were going to make an exhume version and now he is MIA.
So I'm left with either buying Vista, new systems or not using Ultrabot.

Boxy, try this, download Visual Basic 2008 Express (its free from Microsoft), install it then try to install EQ2Ultrabot on XP to see if its working. Maybe its something missing and by installing VB 2008 it will work. Let me know.

I was able to install it on XP but when it start I get some error that I am trying to track down. You need to install .Net FrameWork 3.5 and also EQ2Extreme.
I will let you know when I find the error.
