Crawler deed exploit for Trollshaws : LOTRO - Submissions

Ok, so if you're level 50 like I am and are working on getting your deeds done, you will love this! The Determination Crawler Kill deed in Trollshaws really sucks! There are only about 7 that are up in the zone (night time about 9-10), so it takes FOREVER. So, I figured a way to speed things up a bit. If you haven't done "the riddle," quest out of Rivendale, you're in luck! Basically get the quest, and get to the part where you go to the cave and solve the final riddle. When you zone into the cave, there will be 3 crawlers you can kill. Guess what, just zone in and kill them, then zone out, zone back in... Rinse and repeat. It's a hellavu lot easier than camping a 7 spawn and much, much faster!

I've never seen it around but i'm not a HUGE blogger so if it's old to all of you then i guess it must be.

/yes Maybe it is old information but mostly it works, on the other hand you can find plenty of crawlers in the gorge where the salamanders dwell just crossing the river ( it is the quest where you get to look on top of a hill). There if you fall the small gorge you find quite lot of crawlers and salamanders, both nice for deed, and they spawn quite fast

well the riddle cave trick is already here for over two years, so a nay as far as gaining premium with this submission

with everything getting easier the normal flow would be do your tal bruinen quests, killing every crawler you walk by

then as mentioned go to the little lake by the named worm (not the one by the waterfall) there is about a 2 to 1 ratio of worms to crawlers plus I think the kill count is less on crawlers as back in the day you could only find them behind thorenhad and they shared the same spawn points of bears....

complete the worm deed, of course killing every crawler you come across

_then_ finish up at the riddle cave killing the three spawns leading to the "mama" crawler who spawns two ally crawlers kill only the two ally crawlers run back to the railing by a mound of dirt, the "mama" runs back as soon as she turns tail

follow her back where your presence will spawn two more allies

rinse and repeat

there is also a trick with the named worm by the waterfall, but you usually have to kill non worm or crawlers so not very time efficent compared to riddle cave

anyway fighting the named there, the named spawns two allies of much lesser hit points, who none the less count for worm slayer deed.......
