Basic installation of LOTROExtreme

1-Run LOTRO GAME
2-Log your character in LOTRO World
Note: Be sure you running in Windows MODE -----press ALT + ENTER

3-Create in "c:\" new folder call it --> LOTROExtreme
example: c:\LOTROExtreme

Note:Need to free-register to download UpdateLOTROExtreme.zip
4-Extract UpdateLOTROExtreme.zip in c:\LOTROExtreme

5-Now you got c:\LOTROExtreme\UpdateLOTROExtreme.exe
6-run UpdateLOTROExtreme.exe

Wait till all file been download:
Currently downloading '\ChangeLog.txt'
Currently downloading '\Exhumehelper.dll'
Currently downloading '\LOTROEWrapper.dll'
Currently downloading '\LOTROExtreme.exe'
Currently downloading '\LOTROExtreme.vbs'
Currently downloading '\RadarSettings.vbs'
Currently downloading '\Radar_HUD.vbs'
Currently downloading '\VGEHelper.dll'
Currently downloading '\includes\LOTROService.vbs'
Currently downloading '\includes\Navigation.vbs'
and shows Done!!!

Now to Register your dll with your system.

7a-Download regctrls.rar and extracted anywhere you like.

Open RegCtrls.exe and register your dll.

13-After all Dll are register, run --> c:\LOTROExtreme\LOTROExtreme.exe
14-Username and Password/Login

15-XExhume windows pop.
16-Select lotroextreme.vbs Tab and click Icon looks like Paper with Arrow next ot it.

Taraaaaaaa you got LOTROExtreme Radar.

Can the radar see stealthers? Also, is there a way to quickly zoom out and see the whole zone to say.. see if there are people in different areas of ettenmores. i.e. you are at lumbercamp and can see if there are people at isendeep?

Something is wrong with that site. I have tried registering and each time I go to sign in it says I didn't verify. I get the confirmation email, I copy and paste the link it asks me for my username and password, I enter it, and nothing. What am I missing? I am a paid suscriber to Tault.

Close the page, and reopen via http://gforge.xunleashed.com and then click the login button.

The verify link looks like the login page, but it is different. I did the same thing and kept trying to verify when I was already verified and just needed to find the login page and login.

when i use your documentation, all works fine. the only thing: when i am registerung the dll, all woks fine (exhunehelper.dll and vgehelper.dll), but when i want to register the last one (lotroewrapper.dll), there comes a message:

lotroewrapper.dll was loaded,but the dll register server entry point was not found. dllregisterserver may not be exportet, or a corrupt version of lotroewrapper.dll may be in memory.consider using pview to detect and remove it.
can you help me?

i installed a fresh,clean version of lotroextreme. it was the first installation(formated hdd last saturday), and the next follwing installations after cleaning up, had the same messages poping up too,

You dont register that file. Only ExhumeHelper.dll and VGEHelper.dll.

then tell me, how to register... i did registering like with vgehelper.dll and exhumehelper.dll (shortcut from regsvr32 and then properties, change target. but that wont work).

someone knows, what i do wrong?

which exe do u need wyver to check if german client is different?

did you turn on hover names in the game options itself?

You can also reset all of the game options to default and see if that makes a difference.

Please make a new thread if you are having problems. Trying to answer 5 different problems is a major pain as some fixes will crash others, or make theirs not work etc.

The Registration email you are to get is blank and will not allow me to verify my email account. I have resent the verification email 5 times and its always blank. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: I figured it out, I had multiple threads open of LOTROExtreme that were running in the background...

I've followed the guide above(very nice work BTW), but when i enter my login/password, I get the following error:

Failed to initialize LOTROExtreme
Failed to create an IPC Port: access is denied

Does anyone know what this means?

i downloaded and ran UpdateLOTROExtreme today. problem is it didn't download exhumehelper.dll all the other files are there am i doing something wrong?

Well here is a quick fix. Download exhume. Use the link on the left
