Easy way of getting beryl shards! : LOTRO - Discussions

Anyone knows an easy way to get these!

Don't actually know how easy it would be for you to farm decaying hands in Imlad but from august 28, 2007 patch notes:

The Book 1, Chapter 11 boss, Sambrog, will no longer reset during battle

Normal Decaying Hands have been returned to the game with a normal Beryl shard drop rate

they are in the decaying hands loot table for sure don't know of any other creature listed as a for sure drop creature plus lots of requests for putrid nails in ooc and at forum, might be a good AH item

Thanks alot, tobad i didnt know this before, and its already being fixed lol. All 44+ mobs has a very very small chance of dropping shards! tobad they are fixing this cause shard are ripping my wallet

They show up just as much as the other rare's do. Like Caitir, I camped her the other day and found she has 3 different place holders. I got 6 beryls that day. But she's the only one I can remember the location of.

yeah they defiantly got the spawn rate wrong. i did a dragon 3 times within 15 minutes last night. however after that it stopped spawning itself or even the mobs which replaces it. today it still doesnt spawn.

Z camps near the Keeper of Books above Imlad Balcorth. The name of the mob is Akhan Scorn-Eyer. As far as I can tell you get this mob to pop by killing the Angmarim at the top of the stairs that lead into the building there as you emerge from the alleyway. (I am not referring to the stairs that lead to the Keeper of books).

L loves the Himbar spot through the spiders (the short cut to Carn Dum). I believe the mob is Achathling which most of you probably already know how to pull.
