Message xunleashed server lost then daoc crasch. : DAOC Discussion

I see the white text in corner saying xunleashed server lost.
Then 10-20secs later daoc will crash to desktop.

Daoc Euro SI, german.

I know it is not myc conn cuz i dont get red squares etc on BB acct or on the xu computer.

This didnt use to happen, earlier it only said xunleashed server lost. and when server came back it dissapeared.

This is a known problem with the 2.x client. Be sure to use the beta in the xunleashed folder to avoid that problem.

I did, it seemed more stable, however it seemed to cause long loading times of zones, after the 4th zoning it wouldnt load the zone at all, and locked up the computer.

So i had to hit "reset" button.

Now i get "this account is already in use".
i read up on some posts here and there in which they were told to use the 2.x client instead.

I did and it started up, but if use the 2.x client i am back to the crash to desktop issues.

what to do?

If you are having zone load problems with the 2.x, client, then something else is wrong somewhere.


I am aware of the account in use bug in the beta client.

no i had reload probs with 3.x client.
