This is a guide to level a combat toon and a pet to level 90 in less than a week.
Equipment needed: A pet, pet nutriments and pet foods
Buff needed: Entertainer xp buff at all time
Suggested profession: Medic
Expertise: Make sure you have 2 points in Beast Master, to have the “attack” skill
----First step if your toon is not level 10 from the tutorial station, grind him quickly to level 10 around Mos Eisley.
Once you are level 10, take your level 1 pet out and grind him to level 10 outside Eisley too. You can level both at the same time too.
Don’t forget nutriments.
This should take you at max 30 min.
----Second step will take place on Yavin 4, at waypoint -6680 -2250. For this step you will NEED at least 1 friend/alt that is a medic level 90 to help you.
On location is a fast spawn of level 70-72 NPCs, 3 of them. The first step is to have the level 90 medic stand in the middle of the spawn, equipped with a melee weapon, and start a macro a like this one:

/macro tank
00 is the AOE poison cloud (to draw agro), 01 is the AOE spray heal (even works on pets), 02 is the bacta jab (selfheal to hold agro), MACRO NAME: tank
THE MORE FRIENDS YOU HAVE HELPING, THE FASTER IT WILL GO. IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO OTHER COMBAT TOONS, USE THEIR DPS.
***DO NOT BE GROUPED, THIS IS THE KEY FOR GETTING GOOD XP***
----Now that your medic friend is holding the agro for you (and hopefully other friends), you need to step in and start a macro of your own.
PLACE YOUR TOON RIGHT NEXT TO THE MEDIC, AND ZOOM YOUR CAMERA ALL THE WAY BACK ON TOP OF YOUR TOON (you should see the top of your toon’s head now, and a few meters around him. This will prevent your pet attacking mobs 75m away)
Take your pet out, give him foods, and start this macro:
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/pause 1;
/ui action petToolbarSlot0;
/pause 2;
/ui action petToolbarSlot0;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 0.5;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause 0.5;
/macro grind
On this macro, you repeat your pet attack twice in case lag made you miss the first time. Put pet nutriments into your Slot 00 and 01. Two stacks of 15 should last you 5 hours (same as xp entertainer buff). MACRO NAME: grind
Check on him every 5 hours or so, to re-buff and put some nutriments back on your toolbar. Feed your pet too.
Invest every expertise points available in the left side of Beast Master. This will help your pet take down the NPCs faster.
----Do this until you are around level 75-80. After that, if you have good armour you should be able to finish your grind alone. Just insert your AOE poison cloud- AOE spray heal-bacta jab in the macro and you will be able tank everything. When your pet will hit level 75, supplements won’t work. You can remove them from the macro.
----Lastly, /tip your medic friend/alt some credits. You are now level 90 combat/Beast Master and you have access to every profession you would like.
I’ve managed to grind a level 90 medic and a level 90 pet in less than 7 days following every steps of this guide.
