This is how/where i mastered tier 2 in one day. Go to north downs, go to the stable master at Trestlebridge. Facing him turn right and go up a hill there is tons of silver and barrow iron around that hill and area. quick re spawning as well when i was farming the ore the mobs were grey to me also a good source of medium hides.

Best part about it after you mined your heart out and your pick axe is red your just steps away from a forge, and a vendor to repair.

master tier 2 in one day i did!

or you could just go to the barrow downs or northern bree....they all have silver and BI in large amounts
