A few weeks ago I finally got crafting bot to work! So I decided today I wanted to try and get the Ultrabot to work. So followed the steps in exact order from the installation guide, not rally difficult to follow. So I get it all done and start up EQ2. As I am logging in the screen is now flickers like bad night at a techno house jam. I have checked everything 3 times now and it is installed as the instructions say. The thing is it worked a few days back for crafting and it now flickers. I am at a loss has anyone seen this before? Thank you.

OK, I have been messing around with XU alittle last night and this morning and have figured out the problem. Hook DX9 is causing the flickering. When checked it what is causing the flickering. I have been reading as much as I can on and haven't found any topics with this same problem. Any ideas what is going on? Than you.

Are you running dual video cards? If so, once you're in the game (and it is flickering), try changing your gamma. For some reason with dual cards the gamma gets out of whack on them and if you're using alternate frame rendering, it makes the screen flicker.

Just a stab in the dark based on my own personal experiences with EQ2.

or it could be that your screen refresh rate drops when you bog down your video card. do you play other graphicaly intensive games by any chance?
