Rift strats : LOTRO - Discussions

Anyone have any decent strats for the rift, specifically thrang/balrog Im trying to create one as our kin goes through but we're stuck on the shamans/thrang atm.

1O times we try also, and always wipe on the shamans and Thrang. Sorry can't help you :/

as we did him yesterday the 2nd time i try (probably in the worst english you ever heard) to tell you how it works.
The first step with the giant and the 3 waves shouldn´t be the big problem.
U need 2 Tanks, the first one takes the giant pretty close stairs and stays there.
The 2nd Tank is in the middle of the highest stairs.
So Tank & Kill

So the 2nd Tank should get the aggro of the shamans, and should pull them down to the bottom, but close to stairs!
Pick one of the shamans out and pull him out of sight, then kill him. Its pretty impossible to kill more than 2 at the same place/time.

And then its really hard now.
One of the both tanks must have the aggro of Thrang, pull him down the stairs and through a vulcan (the tank shouldn´t stand to close, otherwise he dies), so Thrang get a debuff which means u can hit him with real damage, since its only for 20 seconds, no can train this very often ^^ (if theres a conju, press red, the yellow buff ends with debuff, so mostly after 10 seconds...).
This is really work for the tank and guess, the real age of him shouldn´t be very high ^^.
It took us yesterday about 45minutes. 3 Bards, 2 Captains, 2 experts (?!) are pretty necessary, to heal, ressm & stun/slow down.
