Horse Race EVEN- Nov 07 : LOTRO - Submissions

The horse race in Breeland (found in the Breeland Festival Grounds) can easily be won by following this simple strategy.

1. line your horse up close to the starting line and furthest to the right of the other horses. When you see the NPC say "set", start pressing your W key (or auto-run).

2. Most players will follow the path. But you DO NOT need to. Infact, the shortest point to all the banners you need to run under is found by straying off the path. When I ran this race, I went on the right of the fences, instead of the left of them like everyone else. This got me to run to the nearest banner in the shortest possible time. I finished the race a good minute before everyone else did by doing this.

Remember- do not bother following the path- just run a straight line to the banners and you will always beat the opponents who do follow the path.

umm there are no horse races any more

turbine cant even c & p their own code from one years festival to the next (one way to look at it) so they stopped having horse racing

you win tokens now at festival events and when you have enough you turn in for horse barter item
