what do do for Lu shangs : FFXI General Discussions

hey i have a question to all those who have lu shangs. what would be easier, catching 10 000 moat carp and handing them in, or lvling my bot untill he can catch big money fish and sell em to fund my lu shangs quest. i have a bot in windy and main in bastok, moat carp sell for 3k a stack so over all if i bought them id be looking at 2.1 mil. i am looking to get the lu shangs for my main btw.

Secondly, with the fishing bots on this site, it would probably be more cost/time effective for you to just bot and turn in the moat carps that you catch. Just sit and read a good book with the bot and a tell detector running so that you can hear any incoming tells. And when your inventory is full, just run in and turn them in and there ya go!

No problem. I recommend you try XIFish - Stand Alone Fisher, or, if you're more of a scripter with XU, use XUFish Script

I've been using XUFish pretty consistently for almost a full month and I've caught 3k moat carps. I'm not even fishing by ID, which would be even faster... i want to get skilled up on the other fish anyway. Anyhow, it works fine and if you open the scripts they are fairly easy to understand.

ya i need some help witht his xufisher becuase when i use xifish i find hook the fish and fight it for ever and then it lets go of it "because of saftey reasons"

do you guys have a teamspeak on ventrillo that i could hop on and you could walk me through it, ive tried the extracting the script and doing ctrl + insert+ 3 but nothing happens.

In order to use the XUFish Script, you need to be running the XUnleashed Windower.

As for XIFish, are you on compact keyboard mode? And there must be a flaw if it's fighting the fish forever; when it's fighting, is the FishHP going down at all?
