group healing bot |
|
If anyone could make a simple bot for a healer class such as Cleric, Bloodmage, etc.. That checks group members health(f2,f3,f4 or whatever way), and heals them, if there health goes below 90% or something to that effect. I am trying to work on one myself but I have poor programming skills.
Thanks!

It would be fairly easy, except there are currently no offsets defined for MaxHP of group members--only yourself and your pet, not even your defensive target.

Any idea if there is going to be an offset defined in the near future? a group heal bot would be great as I often 2 box and during multiple encounters it can get a little messy, if not think its possible to run up a fast bot that will respond to key tells, I had one in eq1 many years ago that would buff, complete heal, heal and hot on command to the person who sent the tell.

If I'm not mistaken, the VG ViperBot can be configured to work as a basic buffbot. MMOViper is free to TU members, you just need to pm tault_admin to get the access until they get the sites properly merged.

I am interested in trying dual boxing, has anyone tried using viperbot or any healer/buff bot that works well.

I've used the ultrabot program from slam666 that's posted in this forum, although it didn't work out of the box and required some code modifications. Even so, it was not easy to set up. Once it was going, it would work well for about an hour then become highly unresponsive. There may have been a memory leak.
Viper is included in your premmy sub and from what I understand can be set up as a heal/buffbot. I do not know how simple it is to configure or how well it works in this capacity as I haven't had an active VG account for about six months, before vg viperbot was available.
