Using Emotes : GW Guide Discussion

I just bought Nightfall and am hooked. However, I still have not figured out how to use the emotes. I can type in certain emotes to make my P/N dance, sit, etc. but I can't seem to get him to shoo those freak'n flamingos away. How do you use the commands on another character?

All you have to do is type /(and then emote). Ex. to dance you type /dance. Everyone isnt what it does, you'll see:
