hm, its been a long time... something about one of the header files. For some reason VC 2005 didn't play well with it. Sorry, i'm racking my brain, but I just can't remember the name of the header.

MSVC has significant recurring problems with header files, it always ends up looking in the wrong place.
Probably tlhelp32 though, the one used to locate the FFXI process. (Try converting to C#, .NET provides much better (well, simpler) tools for that kinda stuff.)

Ah, yes, it was tlhelp32.h
Unfortunately though, my knowledge of c++ and c# is novice at best, and converting is a task that I simply am not up to. Not that it matters much anymore. My ffxi days are long gone.
