Ultrabot or Harvest Bot 5 : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

For starters im running vista ultimate x64

downloaded Microsoft Script Debugger
I have eq2extreme downloaded and working
I have Xunleashed, only prob i have is i cant get the taskbar to show so i can veiw the scripts.
I also have the exhume installed and working


I have tried everyhting I can to get them runnign with no succes on anything

Best ive gottten was with the Harvest Bot 5

but i get this error

I configured everyhting int he INI correctly as far as i know. I even tried the override and it does same exact thing.

this is what i have in it

With the Ultrabot i downloaded everyhting it said and configured it based on the readme. But when i load it, it doesnt do anything but immediatly goes to this.(added as an attachment) No log in no nothing

I suspect your not using the latest release of HB 5. There are several posted. I think HB 5_02 PR3 was the last I posted. I'm not sure if I posted 5.03 before I left on vacation.

The text your getting in the HB log file is caused by the bot not finding an entry for your toon in the INI file.

This can be caused by a couple of things:

1) The game client has changed and the bot no longer see's your characters name correctly. (Updating EQ2Extreme should fix this.)

2) You don't have an INI section for the toon you are currently playing. (Adding a section to the INI for this toon should correct this...)

3) You are running an international EQ2 client and the characters used to represent your characters name can't be found in the INI file.



After encountering the last item with international version of EQ, I added a line of debugging code to 5.02 PR3 that looks like:

Searching for Player Section for toon [Xxxxxx]

What's between the brackets is the name of your EQ character - as seen by the bot.

One of the above "should" resolve your troubles with HB5.

I looked for the 5.03 version but its like the gforge server is still down, getting the http 404 error etc. Can u post it here?

I dont know for sure what version eq2extreme i have but i just downloaded it on saturday.

and still getting the same error, check other forums and tried lowercase characters, weird even the override doesnt do anything, i change it and it doesnt show that path in the log. I know its loading the right Ini becuase i change the eq2 path and it changes in the log. So i have no clue whats up, thought maybe it was vista so reloaded my other computer with xp sp2 and its does same thing.

Yeah, You have an "older" version of the bot As soon as the gforge server comes back up, we can get you the latest release.

Ok ive been waiting for these damn servers to come back up. Is there a way to post the harvest bot 5.03 here so i can get it?

I've uploaded the latest "stable" release of Harvest bot in the "confirmed" area.
