Restored Item : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

I tried to see if this has been posted and couldn't find it. Though I am reluctant to post this as it creates more competition for stuff


So you do a bazaar term search on vendor tab entire galaxy. Then in the search box type "restored" and a bunch of "restored item(s)" will appear. Then you just poke through them until you find something cool. Many times there won't be anything but if you check it often you might just find some cool things like I did yesterday. I got BACKPACKS full of server capped resources for 1k each. 12 backpacks someone had full of resources were mine for 12k. I've also gotten collection items for 1k each that are worth 2m+. Sorry if this has been posted.

Where do these restored items come from???

Maybe when people are inactive and their vendors are destroyed through maintenance they randomly appear ?

Sometimes items get lost or deleted and then just get restored either by the system or by sending in a request. If someone has a vendor where it is restored - it doesn't go into the players' inventory - it goes back on their vendor and is listed as "restored item." Even "storage" vendors that are not listed on planetary maps show up. That is how I found all the backpacks full of stuff.

/yay it works nothing useful but it does work

I check it every couple of days. Sometimes it's useless stuff for sale but sometimes you make out like I did. It was like buying a hotwheels car online but getting a real car delivered.

FYI - I made out so well that the person I bought the stuff from made a ticket and hassled me. The CSR's did nothing. SO - as long as you don't mind /addignore the person you screw over - you're fine.
