cant load char ini |
|
- Vista 64
- EQ2ExtremeService.dll (1.5.0.1)
- Version of EQ2Ultrabot (5.8.3)
- Do you have any files EQ2_UltraBOT_DEBUG_LOGx.log in your c:\eq2ultrabot directory (yes)
- Do you get any error message when you try to start eq2ultrabot? (not when it starts but after it loads, give me a msgbox saying that char ini coulnt be loaded look up for errors or something like that)
if you can get this sucker to work, ill buy a full version.

i dont know if this helps either but i have to reinstall ub every time i restart my computer or else i get a com error. once i reinstall it goes away.
I also have to register the two files for eq2extreme after every reboot for it to recognize the eq2extremehelper.exe file.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

ok new update, I added the full line c:\eq2ultrabot\xxx.ini into the eq2ultrabot.ini and now its reading the information on the xxx.ini and does not crash when I try to start the bot but it still gives me the error that it couldnt load the char ini but i can plainly see all my info when i go into the char ini option in the program. when I hit start on the program it does not do anything. If i go into the test and try #2 the turning one it bugs out on me and gives me the error i posted in my second post. any suggestions?

ok im not sure what the deal is but i fixed it temporarily. what the issue was, for some reason it does not like having two difference quickbars in the same combat sequence. IE combatseq1 could only have spells that were listed in qb1, when i added some spells that were on qb2 it wouldnt let me load the ini.
same thing with combatseq2
do you have a fix for me for that?

ok got it to work, seems that I was using to many characters while describing my attacks or something. now working fine. but doesnt seem to bee looting
the bot does not even recognize that there are chests and bodies laying around. I have all the ui stuff in the right place and all my settings are set to true for looting.

Send me a debug file after you have it run a bit and that is not looting.

heres one of the logs that has been running for a bit.
another thing, ive noticed is that sometimes it will be targeting someone at its rest location and trying to attack it while being attacked by another mob. it wont switch to the actual mob thats hitting killing me until he dies.

Windows XP
ERROR:Failed to load Char INI File. Look for errors above
[Version]
INIVersion=5.8.3.0
[CharINI]
CharINIFile=c:\eq2ultrabot\xxx.ini
[Debug]

; mode 0 will only log error
DebugLevel=1
How do you make a debug file?

your main.ini file must contain the fully absolute path to your char.ini file, not just the file name
