Subject description: great spreadsheet for crit items

current spreadsheet of all new crit items for what profession needed, what old crit items it used to be and the approximate levels of what drops new item = http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=rsojcePoyjyzLAkOLLE7_Dw

They changed the crit items again, some of the old crit items work for several professions, be sure you exchange the right amount for each of your crafters.

I highly recommend checking out these links before you barter your crit items if you're not that familiar with how everything shakes out. Apparently a lot of people have ended up bartering items for one profession to the detriment of another.

Two very helpful resources. Well done!

When bartering remember there are two NPCs, one near the Cook's Guild in Michel Delving and one outside of the Crafting Hall in Michel Delving.

Be sure to double check what you're bartering for! You have multiple options in some cases. Make sure you get the item you need for your profession.

Also, because I noticed a lot of talk in various servers' OOC last night, the Elegant Claw is not an optional ingredient, it's a required ingredient. So it has no barter equivalent. Same with intestines for cooks.

Well, this is where the problems come in on how the crit items have changed and why I really dis-like the change.

Some crit items can now be traded for crit items in different vocations. You have to choose which vocation to trade them for. For example, Great Claws were a crit item for several vocations.....if you trade them, you have to choose which vocation to use. Make sure to scroll down on the tradeable list and so not take the first item shown.

=====

The trade is not one for one. In the old system Great Claws could be used for almost every profession thus there are lines in the Barter Vendor which give
Great Claw -> Chunk of Blue Rock Salt
Great Claw -> Chunk of Dusty Brimstone
Great Claw -> Golden Flax Fiber
Great Claw -> Soft Whetstone
Deadly Claw -> Soft Whetstone
Great Claw -> Drop of Soft Resin
Great Claw -> Chunk of Yellow Rock Salt.
Dusty Tail -> Chunk of Yellow Rock Salt

I took about four hours this afternoon deciding how to trade stuff in so that I would evenly distribute my items.

=====

They've gone from 38 items to 36 which doesn't seem like much improvement but that was actually over 60 combination's of item to craft/level. Also, they now stack to 100 i
