EverQuest 2 EQ2

Hello, I had a quick (and probably dumb question)... I am following the installation README file and after installation, it says to :

5- Go to the folder you installed eq2ultrabot in (c:\program files\eq2ultrabot)
6- Copy the content of the folder UserFiles to a location you want (ex: c:\eq2ultrabot)

When I go to c:\program files\eq2ultrabot (the place I originally install the software) there is no folder named "UserFiles" should I be copying everything to the new location or is something going on with my initial installation? Thanks a million!!!

post the link to where you found the answer - i have not found the answer yet. Would love to pay the yearly fee and use this but if I cant get the trial working, shrug...

Might be worth a new revamp of install instructions to be current and more "hand holding" for the average users. =)

mmoviper doesn't work with win7 yet even though is in use says wont make version that works until full release, i was gonna try it.

Hello! = ) Sorry for the delay in replying... I've been without my Gaming Laptop for a few weeks; I fried the videocard and had to send it back.

Before you do anything... UNINSTALL anything that you have previously tried... I think that trying to reinstall on top of an old attempt at installation was what caused me a lot of problems. Second, I was having a problem with .ini files and where to put them... you need to actually place all .ini files in the EQ2 directory or else it won't work!!! Well that is what I had to do...

Sorry don't have much time to look at your other posts, I'll check out later though = ) It worked in Vista Ultimate for me... supposedly Vista and Win7 essentially the same, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work there.

I will be reinstalling this program again shortly (in a few days) and I can also make a really really stupid person's guide (so that I'll have it for the future for myself, haha) and I can post it when I make it.
