Just curious since it seems like VG needs some new loving so im just curious what people think.
My biggest pet peeve with the game is running it on lower end comps. I think if they fixed the games frames then it would actually save VG.
What do you think?

Well i dont think they can really do that. The problem is the game was coded poorly for how it runs on computers. Look at aion for example. That game looks far better and yet it runs better on computers versus how vanguard runs.

I don't really have much of a problem with performance nowadays. Switching my 'main' rig to Windows 7 cured all that.
I personally believe that the biggest drawbacks are the default UI (most trial players won't care enough to source out a third party UI, or to spend time setting the default up), and the lack of content. Despite being set in a huge world, it's very repetitive. Things like the shiny collections in EQ2 would add so much more for solo players and non-raiders.
Within the first year, I had a lvl 50 in every class, and found APW to be too scripted to be fun. I never liked the PvP either, so I rerolled on a PvE server. I still return to Telon occasionally for short periods when things get changed, like the druid revamp, galleons, and currently level cap increase, but the game is now pretty dead to me sadly.

I would agree that when VG first came out, the fact that it didnt run on anything but high end computers did hurt it. But 2 years later, it should run decently on anything other than bottom end computers. The game really is a very good game, short of high end content. The very small dev team doesnt help matters either.

Yea but the problem is rommel is they dont have any extra funds to try and advertise this game as a EQ2 killer. That is why vg is hurting now. They where rushed to release and the developer is pissy now that they didnt make much off the game.
