Well, have you just made an account or about to make an account on runescape, if yes then read this guide for good leveling (without dying)

1a. the tutorial....
yes, people think this is the most boring part of any game, but if you dont pay attention, you will not level up in a good way, and you will lose very important stuff eventually!

to begin with you learn how to talk to NPC's , all you have 2 do is click on the guide, and kepp talking to him until he sends you to the next guide, who will tech you the four, probably most important skills, wood cutting, firemaking, fishing, and cooking. now when i created my account you would fish for shrimp but nowadays it is crayfish, but fish as many as you can and cook them(if they burn, right click and click drop, then re fish and cook until u have a full inventory of cooked (not burnt) fish.

1b. now she sends you to the cooking guide who teaches you have to cook on a stove, eat about 4 crayfish and replace them with bread.

1c. after cooking you are sent to the quest guide, he is all talk and no work

1d. fighter training....... it starts with sword and shield then bows, follow instructions and eat food when u think u need 2

1e. mining and smithing, easy enough, follow instructions

1f. prayer, all talk and no work

1g. magic, simple and easy

yeah it's useless cuz it doesn't say anything the npc's don't say.
How about the fact that you can't die in the tutorial, which means you can practice your combat skills till lvl 3 (max in tutorial for every skill)
They keep giving you supplies for everything they tell you to lvl so get everything in tutorial to lvl 3 first, that will save you at least a little trouble in the beginning.
