Guide to Scamming People : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

Hey, just though i share my own guide with you

what you need?
- a rare item (focus crystal, lava crystal, sunriders, bactatank, or something similiar)
- about 100 backpacks prenamed from a trader (<yourname> lottery)
- a friend of noone knows hes ur friend
- 99 junkitems like lunkloot from NPCs (you may place some noob rewards like holograms in there too)

make a vendor and initialize it, place 99 backpacks with junk on your vendor for about 1-5mill each but NOT the one with the rare item, instead give it to your friend, then start advertising your lottery (best on mos eisley via macro or droid) and when people bought most of your backpacks your friend goes to your house, to your vendor, opens his inventory and the backpack and makes a screen that let people think he just bought the backpack and got the rare item(incase anyone makes a forum post stating noone got and and you cammed the people so he can postthe screenshot stating he bought a pack and won the item), then he returns the backpack with the item to you (and you should pay him a few mill for his work) and /yay your Millionare becouse there will ALWAYS be noobs that are addicted to gambling and cant leave your house without buying 1-afew backpacks with the hope of winning


Time Invested: depending on how fast they sell
Work Invested: not much
Credits Earned: 100-500mill or even more

That's not exactly scamming imo, theres no social engineering/trickery involved and relies on really stupid people to buy your stuff. Barely anyone will buy them unless your a credible person and well known/respected on your server. You may aswell put a CL1 weapon on the vendor for 5mil, the people who buy your backpack will be the people who will buy this weapon. A good scam is where you can trick anybody and get away with it.

In a game like this it requires a "long con" to scam people. You will have to befriend certain people and gain there trust to make it worthwhile.

Not to mention, you can get banned for fraudulent lotteries. I know people who report lotteries all the time. Not worth 500 mil.

I am guessing your from starsider coz there is a guy doing a big lottery on that server but its not a scam.

theres no way you can detect if its a fraud lottery or not, since one guy (your frind) recieves the price noone is being scammed on a legal way

perfectly works and shouldnt get you into trouble

this is true but if some one buys 20 packs gets nothing and reports you for fraud, a gm can easyly look into there recdords and see what you placed in the packs, what you "said" is in the packs and evan that you trade'd the good stuff to your friend to make it look real

Nay for reasons presented by bizzkut.

How about putting all the packs for sale, and just IMing your friend the correct pack-name?

Of course you do this after a day or so, so it looks legit... Thing still is, that there are chances someone else buys that pack, but if that's what happens... Too bad, try again.
