Storage becoming an issue? Combine it! : LOTRO - Submissions

Ok, so your running out of room in your character vault, you can alleviate this for up to 4 weeks, for up to 40 items.

*Works great with Viperbot, (particularly since the crafting mods lotro made recently) when your bags are full, and your only near a mailbox, cos lets face it, why flood the market with all that ore at once when you can gently dribble it in at top dollar....


1. Create a character; work that character to level 13, you now have access to one vault chest and the main storage chest of the vault...PLUS 5 bags... make sure you position at michael delving close to mailbox and auction hall or thorins gate... You won;t be playing this alt any more...

2. Send any or all of your produce to this characters mailbox, DON'T OPEN IT unless you want to store it or combine it, good for storing and combining multiples of flax fibres, as they only drop 1 every 10 or so wood cutting.

3. by not opening your mail, you have 2 weeks before it is automatically mailed back to the original sendee.

4. when it comes back to you after 2 weeks, DON'T OPEN IT or at least not immediately, you will have a further 2 weeks to collect it.

BE WARNED: Not collecting your mail after the 4th week results in deletion by the system.

ALSO BE WARNED AGAIN: the moment you open your mail, it's time is reduced to 2 days, so a helpfull subject description can save a lot of annoyance.

*Whilst widely taken advantage of already in the lotro community, some times revisiting the most obvious exploits helps....

Good info but you dont really need the extra 1 bank slot, just make all the alts you want instead of waiting.

this as the poster mentions is so basic, so well known, and already here since _before_ the game went live in May of 2007 that it does not warrant any tu bucks for the idea itself

but the admin could give some tu bucks to the poster for the _attempt_ to share with the community as an inspiration to others to share their ideas..........

Well they get tu bucks for submitting things . It only is 300 posts to get a 6 month premium. If someone was a good member and tried they can achieve that in a little under 2 weeks but normally it would take around 3 weeks.

/nay as well. This is not an 'exploit' it is fairly common sense. I used to send items to old kinmates that no longer played as I had all my alts and main overloaded due to packrattedness. Since you know they are not playing, you need not worry about them logging on and taking your items.
