they kinda hide trhe biggest question, how many items does this shared storage hold?

from: http://www.lotro.com/gameinfo/464-answer-the-call-of-war

answer: Shared storage: A storage space capable of storing 20 items accessible by all your characters on the same LOTRO server/world.

Though isn't this why we have housing?
Ok, that isn't accessible everywhere but it's also shared...

yes, housing provides shared space, although most use it just for the travel options for low level crafting alts/mules

but housing in lotro kinda reflects real life ...

too many foreclosed houses with the copper pipes all stolen many threads at main forums asking for abandoned houses to be put on the market asgain...

so there really wont be a need for housing other than travel options anymore so no more monthly fees or the initial 1-4 gold cost of the house plus storage containers (I'm sure turbine will implement a new money pit)

with 2 _more_ new char slots equaling 75 item slots each plus the 20 share slots that should take care of everyone's storage needs

although I never understood turbines reluctance to provide bags or boxes to fit in the vault space.......
