Well, everybody has gotten one of those gathering quests. You know the ones. Where the Wholesaler says get me 15 raw tin.

So you go out and mine it for an hour to get 15.

Here is the shortcut.

Go to the broker at the bottom of the crafting zone. BUY 15 tin for 6 cp each. (usually that price). Buy 15 of them, and now go back and talk to the whole saler. Whalla your quest is done! You just got 4silver for it.

And that is just for the Teir 1 quests.

The Tier2 quests give 12 silver, and you can usually find the items right on the broker for 6-20 cp each.

can you buy RAW tin? or do you buy tin bars and that works?

Yes, you buy the raw tin for the quests, the same as if you went out and mined it!

If you have someone hand you the requested item it counts towards your quest. So, if you have a quest from the wholesaler for 15 maple, just have someone hand you the maple one at a time and you get credit for each one. Then talk to the wholesaler which finishes the quest, and then get the next quest. Rinse and repeat.

I seem to be getting tasks that the broker doesn't have. The last two times it's been average quality pelts. Did this little shortcut get fixed?

Nope, still works.

Your server might not be selling as much resources as on other servers.

Lets say I have 15 maple, and I need 15 maple. Do I trade the items off then have them trde it back 1 at a time and I get credit?

Yes exactly.

Not a bad way to make a little extra money!

yeah you can either trade em one at a time or buy em. If you dont get a quest you like you can get it changed at the same npc, just request a diff quest.

Is this tin quest repeatable? or once ou turn in the tin your done?

What sux is the npc does not let me request a different quest, even though its a selectable choice. He says "I just gave you a quest, go and do that first"... Second I have never had one where the wholesaler has the items that the quest calls for.
