TAB saves the day : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

When you see large space before you, just start hitting TAB button. This way you can find all ORE and ROOTS just before somebody else does.

Here is another trick.

Turn the graphics to best perforamance.

It turns off all non essential graphics so you can see the roots etc easier.

another useful tid bit about the Tab key is the fact that it picks up those Usefull Collection Quest ?'s on the ground, only catch is you have to be somewhat in sight of it like if its in a pile of rocks you cant see it but if your on commonlands... have a blast everyone

This is how i completed 15 collection quests on innothule server already.. in a matter of a week and a half of hunting and going nuts with the tab key

tab also lets you avoid those aggressive non-grey mobs while harvesting/collecting/travelling

btw, this is not an exploit

If your like me and don't like to turn down the graphics jsut so u can easily find harvest points, just turn off the flora. In the options, there is a seperate checkbox for flora. Just uncheck it and your good to go.
