[NERFED]Safe Zone Bug/Feature? : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

This is a hidden feature, not really an exploit.

But if you hold down #1 on the keypad for 45-60 seconds, it will teleport your char to the nearest safe zone. This is used if you get stuck in a wall, or like me get stuck behind some nasty mobs.

This is the same as pressing End like someone posted earlier in this forum. But thanks for the additional key.

It was just recently added, I wonder why they took it out?

Perhaps they changed the key?

The feature is not working in all zones. In the starting areas like caves and so it works (last time if checked it out was last saturday)

this exploit was removed about a month ago? 3 weeks...something like that... suprised people here didnt have it for longer...

The key's were mapped to the "Swim Down" key. It seems the devs forgot to do bounds checking on the players, so they were falling through the zone floor. People kept using it as a "gate" key, so yeah.. nerf!
