quick update, I was sick last week, damn flu, so I didnt work much on it. I am now trying to fix the different message in the game, its a bit different than EQ2 so I have to dig around to see what are the new message, like in EQ2 when you hit a mob it say YOU hit, now in VG its You slash or You crush etc. But I can tell you that its coming...

Now I am able to run my bot solo for a few hours

Working now on fixing a little bug with pulling to safe spot and group.

Should be ready soon.

slam666, any chance you could create a list of work you have working so far and what you still have to test? I just like to keep up to date without going through pages of posts

Any update? I cant wait to see what you have done with it. I remember how much i loved the eq2ultrabot. Anyways, cant wait to see it, toss us an update! lol im already lvl 40! hehe j/k i know it takes a toooon of time, but if you get a chance, toss out that update

almost ready I have 2 bot running for a few hours, one tank, one healer. Just need to fine tune it a bit. If anyone can PM me some spots that I can hunt with mob around lvl 7-9, I have dark elf char, so if you have any spot near the starting point it would be nice.

Has anyone got this working in Buffbot mode without it halting on the 'objcommandwindow' line when a valid master sends a command?

Seems Slam666 is on a well desreved rest so was hoping maybe someone with programming experience might be able to point me in the right direction to solving problem?

Yea... I'm having the same error.. it will actually work as a buffer and healer. .. but as soon as it receives a tell it crashes. It was fine before GU4, because I knew not to give it a tell... but now gold spammers are sending unsolicited tells and it crashes the bot.

Just to save anyone time that may be reading this, this bot no longer seems to work. (Runs into errors about objects being required that don't exist)

I don't think it ever worked correctly for vanguard (keep in mind it was originally written for EQ2 and ported over).

I am running a version that I've tweaked that seems to work fairly well for a buff/heal bot, although I changed the hotbar code to work with DroxUI, which uses ctrl-f1 through f4 to switch hotkey banks rather than the shift sequence. I can post it if you wish

Please do, I can't even find the updated download for VGE. The download link they have gives me a version several updates old and it sets off my virus protector.
