Name Change : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Just wondering if there is a way to petition SOE for a name change without them suspecting a sold/hacked account.... mine is legit and have had it for 5 years. lol, toons name just doesn't fit him.

Thats a negatory..least to my knowledge. The only way I have heard of it being changed is if it was obscene or offensive. IE my last name is "FingersCorpses", just to be random :)

They will do it if you say it's for roleplay reasons.

Well, I should say they have done it, not they will do it because I can't speak for SOE in an official capacity :)

You can search through different languages and find one that has your name as a profanity or something vulgar and then tell them so they will switch it for you.

You can purchase a potion of amnesia from the market for 1500 sony points. Cost but at least it's doable now.
