Item Dupe : FFXI General Discussions

Maybe I'm mistaken, but when I joined this website I was under the impression that there was item duplication "server sided" to make mass quantities of Gil. It was on an advertisement at the home page of the website.

Does it still exist?

Not unless you want to be instantaneously banned there isn't.

The methods are here, but you WILL get banned if you use them. And it's honestly not a question of 'if.'

You cannot dupe items it was patched ages ago.

yes.. item dupe was possible... i saw it b4... not sure how... but these guys have ubber gears... they dupe item drops from HNM>NM>KSNM w/e.. they had 2-3 drops of the same item each kill.. was doing a run with 1.. and 2 same items drop from an HNM. But later i heard he was banned.. but by that time.. he said he had everything from the game.. had his fun.. and didnt care if he got banned.

i never heard of straight up item dupe, but i remember a glitch in salvage that allowed parties to dupe through dissolving alliances or something. not quite sure how it worked. big fiasco when SE found out about that one lol.
