Easy Mithril Flake Mobs in Lothlorien : LOTRO - Submissions

For easy flake drops all you have to do is log on your server right after maintenance has taken place. Its usually Thursdays for the EU servers and they come back on-line around 1pm UK time(GMT)

When the servers come back on-line all the mobs are reset and this also means that all the rare's have spawned. This is a very easy way to make money and get lots of flakes.

Please check below for a map of the known mob zones and spawns.

wow that takes me back a decade to EQ yeah always get on after the servers come up after downtime then sony realized it and changed coding so all the named weren't always up

guess this would work for those who aren't at work on Mondays around noonish when they schedule most maintenance to end.....

As mentioned in the other flake dropper map thread (this map is much neater though btw) if you are not a hunter and there is a hunter seeking flake droppers the hunter will get them.....well unless the flake dropper spawns _right_ on top of you....

ADMIN -> does the viper radar cover a whole zone/area? would a user of it be able to compete with a hunter??

Yes hunters do have a small advantage but at the same time a huge disadvantage as they are really bad melee attacks so any hunter will have a very hard fight against 1 elite his level.

rune keepers and Burglars would be my preferred choices to farm the rare mobs

That map is missing the hawk in the north and the moose in the east.

It also doesnt cover the concept of shared spawns and the 1h for respawns

EDIT: Basically there can be up to 5 flake droppers up at once for Loth. 1 for each region (West, South, East, North) + Morthang in the orc camps. Once one of them is killed it will take 1h exactly for another to respawn in its place. All of them will either a) spawn where you killed them or b) spawn along their patrol path. There can be only 1 flake dropper per region (e.g., It will either be the Warg OR the Orc for the west region never both at once)

Its also missing an orc archer, Nimau, that is real close to a certain camp.

My map has the spawn locations not the areas. The map is the best on the net for pin point rare spawns.*Well the best i have come across and on these forums)

Mobs will SPAWN there but will patrol away from that spot

I agree but they will not roam far from the spawn point so this makes the map still more accurate than others.

o rly? follow bellegbrog for a while. you will see that he will go as far as to where 'faegnar' is shown. also...check the lorebook you will see that the mobs have TWO places listed as to where they spawn and those are ZONES
