Pure Agility Knight: Why become agility knight? Because in the end you'll be better then others. If you don't expect to level your knight to lets say 90s then agility might not be for you. Keep in mind that agility swordsman are much harder to level during low levels then vitality one. What I mean is that first 30-40 levels you're going get it tougher then others. BUT the good part is that after that you'll be leveling probably twice as fast or more then others.
Agility Build & Equipment:
STR:90+10 AGI:99+8 VIT:1+10 INT:1 DEX:34+6 Luk:6+4
Head Top:+5 Ghost Band Head Mid: Fin Helm Head Low:Iron Cain Body:+5 Plate (Theif Bug card) Garment:+5 Mocking Mant (Whsiper Card) Boots:+5 Green Boots (Matyr Card) Weapon:+5 Double Critical BroadSword (Skel Soldier Cards X2) / Or what ever you may choose Acc:2 X Kobold Brooch (Brooch of Counter)
HP 9917 SP 299 ATK 214 ASPD 185.37 DEF 46 Lucky Dodge 2 Hit 139 Flee 226 Critical 14
*Note* some of you may choose to use masamune which adds 30 flee and that is your choice, BUT keep in mind it makes your defense 0!!!! so you will not reduce any DMG taken AT ALL!! in this case you will have 46 % LESS damage which will make a big difference. Leveling up for AGILITY is some what of a pain in the butt at low levels but i promise you it will come in handy later!!
Base level 1: When creating your character make sure it’s created with 9str, 9agi, 9dex. Now go outside and kill 2-3 porings, you’ll gain first base level, which would make you level 2 now.
Base level 2: Once you hit level 2 check your status window, you should have 3 status points now, as well as arrows near str, agi, vit, int, dex, luk. Press an arrow near str, congratulations! You’ve just added 1 str, now you have 10. You also have 1 status point left and all arrows disappeared. This is because in order to add a stat (str, agi, vit, int, dex, luk) you need 2 status points, as it says next to an arrow. You have just one, so go ahead and kill a few more porings.
Base level 3: As soon as you become level 3 you’ll get 3 more status points, plus you had 1 left from previous level, so you have 4. You use 4 points to add 1 agi and 1 dex. You current stats now should be 10str, 10agi, 10dex, 1vit, 1int, 1luk.
Base level 4: You get 3 more status points, use 2 of the points to add 1 agility (agi), you’ve got 1 point left. Notice that number after agility changed from 2 to 3, that means you now need 3 status points to add 1 agility. You should be killing porings, pupas and fabres.
Base level 5: +3 more status points, 4 with one left from previous level. Use 3 status points to add 1 agi, 1 point is left again.
Base level 5: +3 status points, use them to add 1 more agi, one point is still left. You should try to get a better weapon now. Don’t spend much money on it though.
Base level 6: Since you’re now a high level you get 4 status points instead of 3, this will happen every 5 levels. Use 3 status points to add 1 agi, you have 2 points left now.
Base level 7: +4 points, you now have a chance to add 2 agi with no status points left. You can try killing lunatics, but be careful with chonchons, unless you want to sit for long time.
Base level 8: +4 points, add 1 agi, 1 point left.
Base level 9: +4 points, add 1 agi, 2 points left. Along with base level you got your job level as well, by base level 9-10 you should be job level 10 and change your job to swordsman. You can do this in Izlude city, which is satellite of Prontera (to get to Izlude, go out south (bottom) exit of Prontera and get into first warp on the right, on map below Prontera that is). Once you’re in Izlude ask for swordsman guild, it’s located on the rightmost part of the city. To become swordsman you need to complete a quest. To complete the quest you need to go through 3 narrow paths without falling. If you fall you have to start over. Right after you become a swordsman you should go to the store located near the swordsman guild, and buy yourself the sword, I suggest buying a blade (name of one-handed sword, price is 2900z, damage 57) or katana (two-handed sword, price is 2000, damage 60), usually you won’t be able to afford anything more. You shouldn’t spend money on armor instead of weapon, so don’t buy any armor (because you’re agi, armor isn’t as important to you, which means get it LAST). To obtain enough money sell everything you have, even your previous weapon, and make sure to use Over Charge merchant (OC). If merchant wouldn’t want to buy what you have, politely explain your situation and ask him to overcharge your stuff. Now that you’re a swordsman your job level is 1 again and you have few more skills below basic skill. Skills you now have are HP Recovery, Sword Mastery, Bash and Provoke. Each time you’ll get job level up you’ll get 1 skill point, you already seen then while getting you novice job levels up. First skill point you need to use on Swords Mastery, if you bought blade. When you do that new skill will appear called Two-Handed Swords Mastery, leave that alone for now. If you bought Katana just start increasing HP recovery. Now if you open you status window you will see there’s a +1 next to str. This is called a bonus, you get different bonuses on different job level, since you’re now job level 2 you got 1 str bonus. Next ten skill points you need to use to raise HP Recovery, maxing it out to level 10. Back to base levels now.
Base level 10: +4 status points and 2 left from previous level, making it 6 points available. Use them to add 2 agi, no points left. If you’re a swordsman go to first map north of Morroc and hunt pickies and chonchons, but be careful with condors.
Base level 11: +5 status points, 5 levels had passed so now you begin getting 5 status points each base level. Add 1 agi, 2 points left.
Base level 12: +5 points making it 7 altogether, add 2 agi, leaving no points, adding 1 agi now costs 4 status points.
Base level 13: +5 points, add 1 agi, 1 point left
Base level 14: +5 points, add 1 agi, 2 points left
Base level 15: +5 points, add 1 agi, 3 points left
Base level 16: +6 status points, add 3 dex, 1 point left
Base level 17: +6 points, add 1 dex and 1 agi, no points left
By this point your stats should be 10+1str, 26agi, 14+1dex, 1+1vit, 1int, 1luk. You should also be around job level 11, which means you have 1 skill point in swords mastery and that you have level 10 HP Recovery. At this time you should start increasing level of Two-Handed Swords Mastery. If possible you should go buy a better weapon, Bastard sword is the ultimate thing for swordsman at this point. Once you got it, save up money and upgrade it regularly. You can find upgrade NPC in almost every city. Upgrading Bastard Sword will cost you 200z as a fee, but you also need ore, which you can buy from nearby NPC for 1000z. I suggest getting your Bastard to +6 as soon as you can. Once you have some extra money to lose try to upgrade it to +7. Once you’ve got a sword go to west and/or west north of Prontera to hunt Rockers and Hornets (careful with hornets, they link). Make sure to max out your Two-Handed Sword mastery all the way to level 10, and God forbid you put even one more point in Swords Mastery or One-Handed Swords Mastery as some people call it(Wait till you have left over points as a knight). Also it is recommended that you get as many of the following cards as possible: chonchon/male thief bug card, condor, thief bug. Any other cards are useful too.
Base level 18: +6 points, add 2 dex, no points left.
Base level 19: +6 points, add 1 dex, 3 points left
Base level 20: +6 points, add 2 agi, 1 point left
Base level 21: +7 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Base level 22: +7 points, add 1 agi, 3 points left At this point you might want to change a map if hornets and rockers are too slow for you. Remember though that you will be dodging much less on harder monsters so watch out. Good place for this level is 4th map west of Prontera (right below Geffen, but you’ll have to walk from Prontera), this is where you can find snail looking creatures called ambernites. You can also try culvert but don’t attack bugs when there are a lot around, they’re linked. (If creature is linked, and you attack it, all of the same kind on the screen will start attacking you) As I said, be careful with experimenting, losing experience and wasting time isn’t fun.
Base level 23: +7 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Base level 24: +7 points, add 1 agi, 2 point left
Base level 25: +7 points, add 1 agi, 4 points left
Base level 26: +8 points, add 2 agi, 2 point left
Base level 27: +8 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Now you’re suppose to have 10+2str, 39agi, 1+2vit, 1int, 17+1dex, 1luk You should be done with maxing out Two-Handed Swords Mastery. This means you have level 10 HP Recovery, level 1 Swords Mastery, level 10 Two-Handed Swords Mastery. Now is time to get all other skills. First you need to get bash and start using that SP (spell points) that weren’t used before. You need to get Bash to level 5 first, since after level 5 it requires twice the SP. After you have Bash level 5, new skill called Magnum Break will appear. Magnum break is splash attack (kills monsters over large area) Put 3 skills points in Magnum break. Remember to use F12 button, you can drag skills in there as well as potions, so make use of it. Try to start each attack with Bash, and be careful when using Magnum Break because it takes away 20 HP. If you’re tired of snails you can go to hunt pecos and snakes until you’re 33. You can find them on 4th map south of Prontera. (walk as if you were walking to Payon) This is it for now.
Base level 28: +8 points, add 1 agi, 3 points left
Base level 29: +8 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Base level 30: +8 points, add 1 agi, 2 points left
Base level 31: +9 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
Base level 32: +9 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Your stats now should be 10+2str 46 agi 1+2vit 1int 17+2dex 1luk. You might want to change map again, but choose wisely, map with good exp and loot, but preferably with none aggressive monsters (yea right, like that kind of map exists…). At level 33 you can go hunt horns and cocos. You can find them 2 maps east and 1 map north of Geffen. At level 33, although you are able to use a Two-Handed Sword, you should not get one. DO NOT BUY TWO-HANDED SWORD. Upgraded Bastard is better because the upgraded damage goes to your minimum damage, so you end up hitting harder regularly, so when 2h users have high criticals, they hit very small on regular attack. Also now you should get 2 rosaries (accessories, each gives 2luk and 3 Mdef, Magical defence ‘Mdef’ is useless to you, price 15000) you’ll do much more criticals, but DON’T put any points in luk, just get rosaries.
Base level 33: +9 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
Base level 34: +9 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Base level 35: +9 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
Base level 36: +10 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Base level 37: + 10 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
If leveling seems slow to you anywhere you go then you’re just impatient person. At this level there’s no way you can level your char faster. Also you should be job level 29 or so by this time. That means you’ve got recovery, mastery, level 5 bash and level 3 magnum. After you’ve got level 3 magnum break, you should max out bash to level 10. Bash level 10 does 400% damage, so if your normal attack does 100 damage you can bash a monster for 400, which is quite a heavy hit. After you have Bash level 10 there’s only one skill left that you don’t have yet. Yes, it’s Provoke. Once you’re have bash level 10, and only then, get provoke to level 5. Since you’re an agility swordsman provoke is actually of use to you. See this skill increases the damage monster does but decreases the defense it has. Because you’re an agility swordsman you won’t feel any increase in damage, but you will sure use the decrease in defense. I can’t say this about vitality swordsman, if he fights tough monster and someone decides to provoke that monster, vit swordsman might end up dead. For the last you should be getting your armors by now. I personally prefer to buy best armor right away. (instead of buying hood, then muffler then manteau, I’d wait and buy manteau right away, but it’s just me, you might prefer different technique). Try not to buy armors from store since they don’t have card slots, but armors on the street, and check for card slots. Place to level at this time might be elder willows, which can be found 2 maps south, 1 map east from Prontera. Personally I stayed there for a while because of trunks and for reason you can’t find better map considering your dodge and amount of exp.
Base level 38: +10 points, add 2 agi, 1 point left
Base level 39: +10 points, add 1 agi, 4 points left
Base level 40: +10 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Base level 41: +11 points, add 4 str, no points left
Base level 42: +11 points, add 3 str, 2 points left
At this point go to level at caramels&bigfoots (2 maps west, 3 maps north from Geffen) They give good zeny and don’t hit much. Plus with your increase in str (and +3bonus that you’ll get next lvl) you’ll be doing decent damage.
Base level 43: +11 points, add 1 agi, 6 points left
Base level 44: +11 points, add 2 agi, 3 points left
Base level 45: +11 points, add 1 agi, 6 points left
Base level 46: +12 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Base level 47: +12 points, add 1 agi, 6 points left
Base level 48: +12 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Your stats now should be 17+3str, 67+1agi, 1+2vit, 1int, 17+3dex, 1+5luk (rosaries) Now you can go to anacondaq&hodes 2maps south from Morroc. Be careful with hodes though, they hurt. You should be getting some nice equipped now. Speedy Padded Armor (thief bug card), Quick Muffler (condor card), Boots (male thief bug card) +7 Hurricane Bastard Sword (andre card) is what I had at this lvl. By now you’re probably done with getting your bash level 10 and provoke level 5. Once you’ve got provoke level 5 new skill will appear called Endure. You should put at least 1 skill pointsin it. This skill is very usefull in places with big mobs, and at least lvl1 is required to ride pecopeco, and you want to ride peco, don’t you? Now if you have recovery 10, 2Hmastery 10, bash 10, provoke 5, magnum 3, 1h mastery 1, endure 1, you’re job level 41 and therefore can become a knight. I realize that most people will go ahead and become a knight at this level. If you want to be better then other knights you will have to go all the way to job level 50. It’s enormous amount of work, but that’s what I did and that’s what I suggest you do. Because of these reasons my guide will be made with thought you will be getting to job level 50. After you’ve got above described skills at above described levels, I suggest you get provoke to 10 which will be useful. Rest of the skill points you’ll get you should put toward Endure, which would make it level 5. So you should become a knight with following skills 10 recovery, 10 2hmastery, 10 bash, 10 provoke, 3 magnum, 5 endure, 1 1h mastery.
Base level 49: +12 points, add 1 agi, 6 points left
Base level 50: +12 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Base level 51: +13 points, add 4 str, 3 points left
Base level 52: +13 points, add 4 str, no points left
Base level 53: +13 points, add 1str, 1 agi, 1 point left
At this point you’re suppose to have 26+4 str, 71+1 agi, 1+3 vit, 1 int, 17+3 dex, 1+5 luk (rosaries). At this point you can probably solo orc dungeon but make sure you got fly wing. Other options would be regular orc warriors but spawn isn’t good there. Another place that I remember at this lvl was mantis (right below aldebaran). It would be nice to have lvl10 provoke on those though. Last would be Geffen dungeon. Most of you will get confused because those are fairly easy monsters for this level. Yes, they are easy, but you have to look at spawn at this point of time and how fast can you kill 1 or dozen of those. You might go to kill swordfish and get 1% and then sit for 1min or kill dozen poison spores in 50secs and get same exp.
Base level 54: +13 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
Base level 55: +13 points, add 2 agi, no points left
Base level 56: +14 points, add 1 agi, 5 points left
Base level 57: +14 points, add 2 agi, 1 point left
Base level 58: +14 points, add 1 agi, 6 points left
Base level 59: +14 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Base level 60: +14 points, add 1 agi, 7 points left
Base level 61: +15 points, add 2 agi, 2 points left
Currently you’re suppose to have 26+4 str, 83+1 agi, 1+4 vit, 1 int, 17+3 dex, 1+6 luk (rosaries) You can try harder stuff now, like Munaks, Soldier Skels, Sohee. So Payon dungeon 3-4 is what you should try. I also killed savages at this level due to never sitting and killing quite fast. Also at this point you should continue to add a few more agility depending on your equipment, then move back to some str.

I tried it out, soloing becomes extremly easy at lvl 75, we hit hard we hit fast and stuff dies with out hitting you. If it does hit you you get to sit for a short while (Love the hp Skill Regen)

2 int tho this can be set in the starting stats, but its not much use, as its a point filler
At the start its noit to bad as you are basically a vit noob. but laters on u may find u need pots till u get your weapons sorted. Also with the way this build works unless u save your cash and spend wisely. you may have trouble.
the locations are the same unless: You get a lvl 2/3 ele weapon preferably wind, as i was still getting a lvl a day in bib till 82 ish,
For leveling view the lvling part posted below
Stats order for this build i would suggest
9 str 5 agi 9 vit 5 dex 1 int 9 luk [or at least u get the picture] then this order of block raising. 20 vit 20 dex 50 str 40 vit 99 str 50 vit [or less. as im planning to mayb re-do this and have higher luk] 53 dex 32 agi 41 luk 2 int [but this could b set in ur starting stats, tho its not much use its just a point filler]
seems simiple and straight forward to me. ppl with other guides for other builds that would like to post send them to me or Epsilon and we will then sort it out .
