Since all my other guides haven't had that much of replies *cries*, I decided to psot a new on, this time explaining what each PT type improves in your character, and getting you to know different Pting styles, so you find the one that fits better for you.

NOTE
This guide is more directed to the Bellato race since I've always been a Bellato, though I played with all races, but the guide does have information that benefits all races.

Combat Proficiency(PT)

There are 6 Combat PTs that benefit or effect your character.

Melee
Increases minimum & maximum damage done by melee weapons.
Allows you to wear higher level close combat weapons & armors.
Slightly increases SP.

Range
Increases minimum & maximum damage done by range weapons.
Allows you to wear higher level range combat weapons & armors.
Increases Maximum SP.

Unit
Allows you to purchase stronger weapons & armor upgrades for your MAU.

Force
Increases minimum & maximum damage done by force.
Allows you to wear higher level force combat weapons & armors.

Shield
Increases block rate.
Allows you to wear higher level shields.

Defence
Increases maximum HP.

Armor Speciality

People train PTs to wear different sort of armors to help them in any situation they come across. It is recommended that all classes train every PT to a level where they can wear the armor of their level.

(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))
Accretia armor is +14% to the original percentage (example: accretia melee armor is 114%).

Range armor is very popular and is in high demand. The ability to run faster really helps you to get places faster or chase down your enemies. Warriors love it for that reason, also due to the fact that it increases your attack speed. And the fact that the armor looks very cute on the female characters, espicially level 29 and 31.

Do not buy intense armor sets at every level unless you have the deep pocket for it! Major levels I recommend intense sets for is 29, 33, and 37. But you may also do the 31,35, and 39 path. Try avoiding intense weapons and use a good purple weapon (EXAMPLE: Spirit, Solid, Saving, Soul, etc).

Different Play Styles Pros & Cons!

There are alot of different styles played among alot of characters. Play your character your own way, the way you like it! Do not listen to those who are narrow minded and only care about levels or pts. Both PT and levels are important! There are certain benefits of playing a certain style. I will now explain.

Maxing PTs before leveling.
This method is usaully frowned upon because it is very time consuming and boring. You will be making ALOT of profit from maxing your PTs because of the drop rates on the lower level monsters and also the potion costs. You will be using 500hp ~ 2k potions to PT at low levels while higher levels will be using 2k ~ 3k potions which makes a hell load of difference in Dalant. Also there will be some pretty nice intense drops which you can sell or use at future levels. You will most likely end up with a whole set of your future armor ready for you to use when you reach the certain level. The disadvantage of this style of play is that you will be a lower level compared to those who powerlevel. You might be geting raided often by Accretia making your PTing slower and making you lose CPT. And also you probably wont be doing any pitbosses anytime soon unless you are in a guild that powerlevels. So overview of pros:

Pros
Alot of intense weapon/armor drops.
Armor set drops for your future levels.

Cons
Time consuming and boring.
You will be outleveled by other players.
Wont be able to do pitbosses unless you have high level friends or a guild.
You wont be much of an force in Chip Wars until level 35+.

The above method is recommended if you are an casual player or do not have much Dalant.

PT your side PTs and powerlevel to 40.
This method is probably the most popular style. If you are a ranger than you would be PTing Melee & Force to 40 to use your future armor sets and getting your range up to par so you can use the armor your level. Once you done that, you powerlevel to 40 for another class change. The benefit of this is that you will be level 40 which is the big milestone in this game. You will be able to kill almost everyone you face and have tons of fun in Chip wars. If you like leadership, you can probably be archon if you get alot of CPT. But on the downside, some people might not like you or whatever(just how the world is). Also being able to kill pitbosses frequently, you will gain some rare items. But you really need an decent size pocket for this style. You will have to buy your armor & weapons(intense ones) sets off the auction house. Also you will be pting with 2k ~ 3k pots on Crawler Rex, TC, or Ether. Overview of the pros:

Pros
Able to do pitbosses frequently with 4-8 people.
Able to kill alot of people.
Able to obtain archon position.

Cons
Expensive to PT
Have to buy your intense weapons/armor off Auction House.

This method is not recommended to casual players or players who can not spend 35hours/week on the computer. You really need an huge pocket for this to work or unless you plan on mining in the core for months or farming low level monsters for weeks. **Please note that in giga4, when you are 40, the lowest level monster you will be able to farm will be about a brutal or spell lazhuwardian. And those dont have a pretty drop rate =

Pure out powerlevel to 40.
Basicaly this method is the same as above except you dont care about any other PT except for defence and your main PT. Your character wont have much weapon/armor choices making you useless in some situations. You might also have trouble in PvP facing certain situations such as fighting spiritualists or running into a group of eight. But the pro is that you will overlevel alot of people which will make you dangerous because of the level/armor differences.

Pros
Able to do pitbosses frequently with 4-8 people.
Level & Armor/Weapon difference.
Able to kill alot of people.
Able to obtain archon position.

Cons
Expensive to PT
Not able to train your side PTs unless you have an high level friend on the other race willing to donate his time and money.
Not very versatile.
Have to buy your intense weapons/armor off Auction House.
You can also have a style somewhere inbetween to benefit from both.

Skill Proficiency(Skill PT)

Close Range Skills

Long Range Skills

These are your attacking skills and buffs. They are very important!

You can unlock your Expert level skills at level 30 with your Basic skill level at 30.

You can unlock your Elite level skills at level 37 with your Basic skill level at 50 and Elite skill level at 50.

Basic, Expert, Elite are also known as TIER1, TIER2, TIER3.

The highest level a skill can obtain is level 7 also known as Grand Master or GM.

It is recommended for rangers to have expert skills at level 28 and warriors have it by level 30.

If you are the pting type of person, elite skills are recommended by 35 for a ranger and 37 for an warrior.

Your Elite level skill PT cap does not raise until level 40.

Always use skills while PTing or else your PTing will be useless! Skills are what determines who kills who in PvP and you dont want to be a useless person with 99 Range and 99 Defence with level 4 skills.

Yes it's true that it might slow down your main PT (melee/range), BUT it will help you keep your defence up if you dont want to PT your sidelines like force, melee/range. And the second reason is that you will be PTing so you won't have the levels that others will so you need those TIER3s to help you in PvP or else you?re just another useless newb level 25 newb that wont be killing anyone.

TIER3 does help in PvP ALOT, you can take down level 30~35s and sometimes even 40 cora?s with the help of your PTing friends.

Never ever ever use any rings or amulets that give +1 skill during PT sessions because that will slow down your buff leveling and make your defence worst due to the fact you are killing alot faster. Only use those amulets/rings during PvP.

If you have GMed a skill, move on to the next one. Try to GM all your offensive skills because you will need it in the future and it does pay to have a nice looking skill window =)
