My two favorite sites for picking up accounts has been playerauctions.com and gametag.com. I have had good success with both. PA is very fast and efficient. It is difficult to sell an account on their website, I have at least one account that they refused to allow me to sell. So, I learned to trust them when I purchase. GT usually has lower prices, but they take forever to process, and you don't have as much assurance with GT that the original owner will never try to scam you out of the account in a few weeks or months.
Furthermore, playerauctions is usually lower priced in most game currencies. I just noticed the Tucex prices here, and most of the PA prices are comparable. I'm going to try Tucex the next time I need any game currency.

If I remember right, PA is the one that doesn't give any guarantees. GT offers you insurance but I opted out of getting it and havent had issues. They also gave me 60 days free. I agree GT could be faster, it's their only flaw. GT also has already transferred the character to a new account (at least in my game) making it difficult for the owner to recall. In wow, GT sell accounts that are custom made by them. PA use to sell those but not anymore. I think the big reason I like GT security over PA is GT focuses on accounts only and the accounts they sell they wait 90 days to list before selling so if any recall was going to happen, it would have likely already happened.

jroffwow, I have looked at the policies for both sites and I believe you are correct in terms of security - Gametag.com is safer for anyone wishing to purchase an account. However, I have used playerauctions more often. SWTOR accounts are definitely less expensive through gametag.com. I got a really good deal on a lvl 50 healer with 1.3 million credits from gametag.com The character is fully decked in end game pvp gear and cost me less than I would have paid for the credits alone from an online vendor.
