The guys over at mmoviper have updated their FFXIV bot to work with the new ARR (ffxiv 2.0) that is in headstart right now.
A few features of the FFXIV bot are pretty standard to all of the viper bots. These include things like hunting, harvesting, and questing. All in the background.. so you can watch movies, etc while botting!
Hunting:
After a few minutes of setting up the bot to how you fight (this is your profile/hotkeys) you can setup a patrol area. This tells the bot where you want to hunt, what you want to hunt, and how long to do it. With leveling in FFXIV:ARR going so fast.. you can easily get several levels a day just having this running all night while you sleep.
Harvesting:
Yep, it also supports harvesting, mining, etc. I beleive only fishing is not ready.. but they have said it will be coming very soon! Harvesting works just like hunting, except you tell the bot which nodes to harvest and let it go. It will find the closest node ready to harvest and drain it. Then it moves on to the next one. This is done via navigation meshes.. so you can help the bot not get stuck!
Questing:
Currently there are no pre-defined quests, but the bot supports a full tasking system so you can tell it click here, go here, click that, etc. I'm sure very soon we'll start to see full 0-xx leveling going on all via questing.
Radar:
Yep, check out this pic.. Shows all of the mobs around, even harvesting nodes!
