I usually bind it to a key (F9) so it's easy to turn on. I also bind the /dump command to a key, so when I'm in a group I can toggle it on and off as needed.
To bind to a key go to Options--->Key Map--->Custom and select the appropriate macro and assign a key to it.

Or you can take out the recursive command at the end and assign it to a key. That when pressed will loot. That way you can be more selective.
You could make two macros, one recursive and one not.
