I liked it better when we didnt have fees. If they turn it on they should make a maintainance droid that you can buy or quest or something that can be used in one house at a time. Then you wouldnt have to pay as much or at all. Should they turn it back on?

The player base doesnt want them. I dont know why SOE keeps pushing them then at the final second delaying. However, on a positive side note, with the come of maintainence fees comes less player structures. Which Im all for.

The playerbase does want them. Our economies need credit sinks.. badly. They do need a pass to make sure they're valued correctly.

psycosis is correct, at this time nothing in the game is a credit sink, except for making ship deeds from chassis, credit just keep building and building, the value of a credit goes down every week because of the abundance, with the new matinence and re-specs, hopefully we can bring the economy back to what it once was. i remember when a million credits was un heard of, now it seems like that number is somewhere in the 700 million range.

They need to make it like AC where you can loose items easily in game. So when you die items stay on your corpse and will dissapear if not claimed in x amount of time. It causes the economy to become more stable as not everyone will have the best items.

Tault_admin (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): They need to make it like AC where you can loose items easily in game. So when you die items stay on your corpse and will dissapear if not claimed in x amount of time. It causes the economy to become more stable as not everyone will have the best items. I agree, but there's too many carebear whiners who don't like this. It pisses us hardcore PVPers off.

Well its the only way to make a mmorpg able to be stable. Because as it stands if you can horde lots of items with no risks the economy floods and the only way to stop it is with releasing items that are stronger. However that doesnt fix the problem.

the economy is out of control, you may not like it, but it is needed to suck some of the credits out of the game

What about you have to pay fees for utilities such as.... Electricity for your lights and other stuff, And security systems. If it doesnt work well then you can be robbed. Because if you dont all that stuff will be destroyed with the house, so you might as well let it be taken by someone. That is an alternative

What about owning a small asteroid in space that you can land at thay you own. Like a house in space. Somethung that doesnt fly around with you. I alos think you should have the option of passwords. So you can make your own little quests like treasure hunts where you find clues and get to a safe house and say a password then you can have the stuff in the house. You could sell the starting clue that leads to all the others. So you might profit or just have fun. Starting your own quests qould be cool. But they cant give exp. Maybe only money. Just some thoughts.

i think the matinence fees will do just fine, their not overly expensive, and it should keep some people from having 20 million houses

Ive done the math and your right. In the long run it would help a lot. What they should do is create a galactic depression in the game ( it happened in another game) where everything cost more and money is hard to make. And the bank taxed people. It was pretty cool. It ended in about 2 weeks and the economy was a little more stable. They did that about twice the whole year.
