I wish I could have tried this first. It is not reliable with SWG. I don't know what it would be good for, marco recording is almost impossible and playback is unreliable. From reading the post I thought it worked. IT DOESN"T. Don't buy this if you are to use it with SWG for macro's.

Yes, it does work deanna, and yes you can get a refund. If you are getting lag while recording macros, it is caused by your virus protection program. You can record mouse and keyboard commands. You can also setup scripts and triggers to run macros also. There are NUMEROUS threads on how to get macros running as well as work arounds for critical failures.
I'm sorry you are having so much trouble, but I really think it is just related to something you have running on your system casuing the lag while recording.
Also, if you are on Win98/ME you may need to upgrade to WinXP to resolve the problems, as there have been reports of lots of problems with Win98/ME and SWG and XU.
Hope that helps.
If you still want a refund, just email me at xunleashed@excite.com

I agree, I have been crafting up a storm with this program. My only problem is I can't keep up with the resources I can grind through while I sit and watch Football

I have to agree, as one of the first to use the program for SWG macro'ing and posting the work-arounds for critical failures before the game was officially supported, it is an excellent tool for crafting. due to swg's system interface, you really need to clean up your system processes before playing it, otherwise xu will lag on macro input.

What are you talking about it not working, it works great for crafting! After about 5 minutes of setup and experimentation, i had a macro that powered its way all the way through medic, combat medic, and doctor crafting, with 0 intervention from me, except to add refil the resources when the stacks ran out.

I just bought it tonight and got it working after about an hour of playing with it. It then burned through the resources I had set it up with in about a half hour. The one thing I noticed when crafting was that I needed to wait until I saw the countdown timer for one crafting tool before starting another tool. If I didn't, it told me I was already crafting. I took the step-by-step instructions that are posted by Fluffy in another thread here, and I modified it thusly:
1. For the FINISH macro, I had to put a /pause 1; between every command or the tool never started crafting.
2. For the Macro Recording, I used both Mouse AND Keyboard recording, then used the mouse only to bounce between the resources. My recorded macro ran through this loop: Press F1, mouse selects the two resources, Press F6, rinse, repeat. The playback seemed to behave better with the mouse not jumping all over the screen to do things.

One additional thing I noticed... Trying to craft while outside causes mucho delays and lag in the mouse movement/clicking. When I'm inside my house the crafting sessions just zip along. If you're having problems, try crafting in a building.

XU works with ME, but some have said that they have had problems with ME and SWG and XU.
Be sure that your ignore direct input checkbox is checked in the options tab.

I think they've made the Ignore DirectInput checkbox set by default. At least it was already checked when I looked.

I know when I first got the program I had to sit down for a little bit to get it to work, you gotta realize the program REALLY lags just take extra time to point and click even though its not lagging when you record it will when you loop, its slower but who cares when your sleeping, now all I gotta figure out how not to drop from AFK i gotta keep wakeing up every hour to log back in gah
