Lately I've been running into a "Failed to start crafting session" message after I maybe 15 crafts with XU. The only way I am able to start crafting again with any of my tools is logout and log back in.

Needless to say this severely inhibits the usefullness of XU. Anybody know of a workaround for this? Or maybe if the cause is avoidable what that may be?

I'm not sure but I think I might have some ideas, I'll post more info on it if I figure it out.

Hi there.

Im having the same problem sometimes.

Most oftenly it is when the damn maccros skip clicks/pushes and instead tries to continue on the next thing ..
Then it seems to like lag after and tries to compensate by
running the maccro faster ..
And .. DOH .. it kinda makes the Craftingtool inusable .. and all other i try to use during the maccro ..

Relog makes them work ..

The fix for this is to make the maccro NOT skip clicks/pushes ...

Maybe to raise the priority of the program ..
Or make an option to Choose the priority of the program so
i with 1500Mb+ in ram can make it run smooth !?

A thought atleast hehe

Regards
Mulle

All you really need to do is think about the potential problems and compensate for them when you record. My method for grinding Armorsmithing has worked fine so far which basically involves crafting Armorweave Segments, they only use 1 resource and that is metal. Now if you move the Xunleashed macro window over to the left hand side of the screen about half way up then mark the screen with a post it where the button is then you open your crafting tool and line up the name of the schematic in this same place and then line up the material you are using on the next screen in the same place you do not have to move your mouse at all so there is no mouse movement enduced lag. You can craft my using the keyboard mostly by using hotkeys for the crafting tools and make a hotkey for /selectdraftschematic X and press enter to advance the screens. the only mouse clicks required are to select the resource. So long as you do a bunch of click to make sure you get the ingredient even if your lagging, tack a couple of extra enters on the end of the craft and then a few escapes in case something went wrong you should be able to loop for as long as you have components. So far I have churned through about 8 hours worth in one go and not had any problems.

What is really hapening is when you program your macro you only do the required amount of clicks per screen but due to lag and other problems what happens is the macro runs basically in real time with no compensation for any kind of slowdown you can think of .. I ran into the exact same problem many times before i adjusted the macro as such.
I start a tool then use a macro inside SWG to select my schematic such as F1 which macro would be /selectDraftSchematic ** (where *= the draftshematic you are trying to practice on which is just a 2 number combination like 01-?? but will change when near public crafting stations you need to experiment with this going from 01 to whatever number brings up the schematic you are looking for)then double click the resourses needed to get them into their places, click assemble spot 3 times, then click each other button to advance the crafting stage aprox 3 times also to ensure lag will not interfear. then after its done i hit ESC about 4 times to clear away the Critical failures if they occure then I hit another macro button in SWG that is /stopCraftingSession which will cure any stuck crafting tools if they occure but with the extra clicks I havent seen the need to use this(Knocks on Wood) and start the next tool and repeat process. I have run this macro for near 15 hours without a single glitch many times.
